1606 is a creative studio offering editorial, motion graphic design, color correction and editorial finishing to provide agencies and brands with flexible, streamlined solutions for producing advertising and other content. Housed in a century-old building in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood, 1606 features five editorial suites, two motion graphics suites, and two post-production finishing suites. 1606 is led by four partners: Jon Ettinger, Brian Lagerhausen, Connor McDonald and Doug Walker.

BRIAN LAGERHAUSEN
EDITOR / PARTNER

Brian Lagerhausen hails from Chicago and has been editing in San Francisco for over 15 years. His clients include: BBDO, Argonaut, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Intel, LinkedIn, RG/A, Mekanism, and Heat. Recognized for numerous achievements and awards, his work for Google "Fearless” took home AICE’s inaugural Best In Show award. Brian enjoys helping his clients to craft stories and experiences to reach a broad audience.

Connor McDonald
Editor / Partner

Connor McDonald grew up in Hollywood, CA. After moving to San Francisco to attend college, he embarked on his career as an Editor. Working on spots for Infiniti, Wix, Yelp, HBO, Mini, XBOX, Taco Bell, Chevy, Electronic Arts and Microsoft, Connor has won a handful of Lions, Clios and Pencils. He prides himself on his versatility and loves the collaboration of the editorial process.

DOUG WALKER

After beginning his career at FilmCore in Los Angeles, Doug Walker moved to San Francisco to open its second office. He has continued to collaborate with brands and agencies to help bring their creative ideas to life. His work spans across the country from BBDO, McGarry Bowen, FCB, Argonaut, Facebook, Linkedin, UBER and Novio. Doug is proud to be recognized by an array of awards from Cannes Lions to Clios to AICE.

JON ETTINGER
PRODUCER / PARTNER

A Bay Area native, Jon Ettinger began his career as an agency producer at Grey in New York. Upon moving back home, he shifted into the world of post production. Throughout his years as an Executive Producer in San Francisco, Jon has worked with and guided the careers of a countless number of award winning Editors. Under his watch, agencies from Wieden & Kennedy to The Martin Agency to Goodby, Silverstein and Partners and brands from Google to Facebook to Intel have benefited from his steady hand.
